Established in
2002 by longtime skater and sneakerhead, Angel Cabada, Supra has
exploded on the sneaker scene. ‘Supra’ which in Latin means ‘above
and beyond’, is the inspiration behind Cabada’s designs. He wanted
to go above and beyond what was available and change the ‘chunky’
skater footwear scene with innovative new models. Cabada’s taste in
hi-cut shoes is what made Supra such a distinct brand amongst other
footwear companies.
Originally
created to compliment Cabada’s other skateboard brand Kr3w, Supra
has pushed beyond skate culture and appeals to all consumers of
street culture. With endorsements from Lil’Wayne, Jay-Z and Terry
Kennedy, Supra has pushed the envelope in sneaker design.
